A cornerstone of this partnership is the implementation of a closedloop upcycling programdesigned to reduce material waste while improving overall efficiency. Through this initiative, AGF Defcom’s manufacturing scrap—including both solid material and unused powder—will be reclaimed and reused rather than discarded.
Using 6K Additive’s proprietary UniMelt® microwave production system, reclaimed material will be processed back into premium metal powder suitable for advanced manufacturing applications. This closedloop approach supports a 100% domestic supply chain, enhances material security, and helps reduce both waste and production costs.
